Originally built in 1898, this long-standing and well-known building just outside of Nampa's Historic District. This building holds significant cultural and architectural value for the community being one of the earliest buildings in Nampa. Situated along 11th Ave, one of Nampa's main roads, it benefits from high visibility due to its location. Gowen Building is the last building seen heading south before going under the railroad tracks and the first one seen when heading north from the tracks. This building had quite a diverse set of businesses operating within it, including a restaurant, "Mona Lisa", bar, tattoo parlor, and motorcycle repair shop.
